Antalya, Turkey (8^th October 2014)

In Turkey, cats are everywhere. The Turkish fascination for cats becomes apparent particularly in the cities where they are omnipresent. Whether you are wandering the cobble-stoned streets of Istanbul or taking in the sights of the magnificent mosques of Sultanahmet, whether you are exploring the old town of Antalya or the harbor of Fethiye, you are sure to encounter these feline creatures. These cute, unobtrusive beings make for good photographs and I have seen tourists in many instances prefer taking pictures of these cats rather than the thousand year old monuments beside them! I clicked some pictures myself and they are now an integral part of my memories of Turkey.
